This is the lookout point over the Great Ocean Road which hugs the southern coast of Australia. The trek up to the lookout is easy, just drive your car!

The hill country of Sri Lanka, popular for tea estates. The landscape is lush and filled with mist. The climate is cool and refreshing, a favourite destination for locals and tourists.

Mt. Fuji

Konbanwa! Arigato!

Exactly a year ago, I was in Japan and saw the grand natural wonder that is synonymous to Japan---Mt. Fuji.

Together with newly-found friends through couchsurfing from Japan, Hungary, Germany, Peru, USA, and New Zealand, we walked around the lake where the Mighty Mountain stands so proud nearby. We picknicked on a really beautiful day that these photos below would attest to that.

Apologies if you are confused. The year when the photo was taken should be 2009 and not 2010!

I think I'm not good at taking runaway fashion photos. My hands are so shaking and I still have to learn tinkering the features in my camera. Boy, I've always been a click and shoot person.

The Clothing Show (Part 1)

If in Milan nowadays is fashion season, Toronto has it's own humble version of a fashion that's intended for the masses and not much of the nouveau riche. Fashion show, art gallery and cheap shopping extravaganza in one roof is the concept of THE CLOTHING SHOW which hosts over 300 booths of new local designers, retailers, jewellery, accessories, vintage, and eco-friendly clothing.

The CLOTHING SHOW runs from September 24, 25 and 26 only.

The National Stadium

Colloquially, this grand structure is also called "BIRD'S NEST." It might resembles like that of a bird's nest but for some locals in Beijing, it resembles like a toilet bowl. But, it's a beauty at night, isn't it?

Patong Beach Sunset

From Saigon (Vietnam), I flew to Bangkok then to Phuket, the southernmost part of Thailand to relax at the beach. I heard a lot about this beach as the "flesh mecca" of all sorts of debauchery, in contrast to the nearby tiny islands which are good for island hopping.

Patong Beach area was drastically affected by the tsunami in December, 2005 but three years later (I went there in 2008), the images of the devastation weren't there anymore. Life continued and business as usual.

Backpacking for almost a month in three countries was tiring and strenuous. So, before I ended the trip, I wanted to be in paradise. The islands in the southermost part of Thailand seemed a perfect fit for a weary feet and body. 

As soon as I arrived in my guesthouse, I was offered with a complimentary welcome drink which I needed most in a long, sunny day. After checking in, I grabbed my camera and headed to the beach.

And this was how nature welcomed me to this island.

A friend lives in a posh neighborhood in Toronto where his patio is overlooking the quite Ontario lake. One day in August, he captured this fantastic photo that left him in awe.
